Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Rate

A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED TAX RATE WILL BE HELD ON September 21, 2023 AT 6:30PM AT the Brazoria City Hall, 201 S. Main Street, Brazoria, Texas 77422.

The proposed tax rate is not greater than the voter-approval tax rate. As a result, BRAZORIA COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT NO. 6 is not required to hold an election at which voters may accept or reject the proposed tax rate. However, you may express your support for or opposition to the proposed tax rate by contacting the members of the of BRAZORIA COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT NO. 6 at their offices or by attending the public hearing mentioned above.

At a meeting of the Brazoria County Emergency Services District No. 6 (“ESD 6”) held at the Brazoria City Hall located at 201 S. Main Street, Brazoria, Texas 77422, on the 18th day of August 2022, among other business, on a motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was passed and adopted:

A public meeting to adopt the proposed 2022 tax rate will be held on September 15, 2022, 6:30 p.m. at the Brazoria City Hall located at 201 S. Main Street, Brazoria, Texas 77422.
